I’m a Turkish-born artist based in Australia working across moving image, conceptual art, and photography.
The Descent
This ongoing video work is a quiet satire of modern life’s disconnection from the natural world. It explores the absurdity of our dependence on digital routines and constructed identities, even in the face of vast, elemental forces. With deadpan humour and poetic restraint, the piece invites viewers to reflect on the emotional cost of productivity, the shrinking scale of our lived experience, and the possibility of return—however messy, however soaked—to something elemental, embodied, and free.
Out of His Shell
This ongoing portrait series captures men in quiet, vulnerable moments within natural landscapes. Stripped of performance, posturing, and urban armor, each subject is invited to simply be—with the trees, the water, the earth.

Interviews
Over the past five years, I’ve worked professionally as a video shooter, editor, and interviewer, documenting stories from politicians to butchers, rugby players to social workers. This has refined my ability to approach people from all walks of life with empathy and presence.
